Regardless of what they say or do, your teens need to know that you’ll always be there for them; that you will support them no matter what. Their boundary pushing is serving to help them develop their values, beliefs, and who they want to be in the world.
In today’s episode, Casey shares great advice and tools to use while navigating loving boundaries with your teenagers. She wants every parent to remember this: the messiness of your kids at the moment does not mean you’re a bad parent or that you’re doing something wrong. There are a few tweaks you can make and some self-care you can practice to influence what you are going through.
Casey O’Roarty is a Parent Coach and Positive Discipline Trainer supporting parents in navigating the wild terrain of the teen years.
